Summary: EHSI has an immediate need for a Principal Geologist/Hydrogeologist in our Bellevue, Washington office. EHSI has multiple long-term environmental contracts involving hazardous, toxic, and radiological waste compliance, remediation, and management at federal facilities located throughout the Pacific Northwest. The Senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist will use technical excellence and professional expertise to cost-effectively craft, manage, and successfully deliver client projects. This person will also provide technical leadership input into other Project Managers’ projects as required and in accordance with defined technical requirements.

Accountabilities

1. Manage execution of projects with budgets and programs to deliver appropriate and cost effective client solutions within specifications and deadlines.

2. Manage activities of technical staff to ensure consistency with the Procedures Manual, including planning and executing programs and managing allocated resources.

3. Achieve targets for personal and staff chargeability goals.

4. Stay current with market and technical developments and recommend potential improvements within EHSI accordingly.

5. Comply with EHSI Quality Assurance policies and procedures to uphold company values for technical excellence and professionalism.

Qualifications/Technical Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science/engineering/geology; Master's degree preferred.

• Ten years of professional experience; professional registration (geologist/hydro-geologist) required.

• Strong project management skills and attention to detail

• DOD experience, USACE preferred, with knowledge of environmental project design development, estimating, reporting, and QA/QC protocols.

• In-depth knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and Washington State regulations (i.e., MTCA).
