Keystone in Tetbury and Huddersfield is passionate about the delivery of exceptional quality ecological consultancy solutions and is expanding its Ecology and Habitats Teams.
We are seeking accomplished, dynamic, enthusiastic and diligent ecologists to join our Ecology Team to work on challenging projects at all scales and across a variety of sectors including joint projects with our Habitats Team who deliver ecological mitigation, habitat creation, restoration and management schemes.
Keystone Ecology would like to hear from professional ecologists who apply a practical, intelligent and pioneering approach to project delivery and have experience applying current ecology legislation, planning policy, survey standards and licensing requirements plus the provision of robust, clear and concise client advice and written outputs. The Role
Manage and delivery consultancy projects from inception to completion, which includes but is not limited to: designing project briefs; production of quotes; fieldwork; provision of client advice; liaison with regulators; production of reports and other outputs; and the management of sub-contractors.
Requirements:
Candidates with a degree in an ecological discipline and a track record in ecological consultancy, preferably within a specialist ecology consultancy. Senior Ecologists must have at least 3 years’ relevant experience and Ecologists 1 year. You will hold a full UK driving licence and be a member of IEEM. Ideally you will hold at least one protected species survey licence and we are particularly interested to hear from candidates with bat survey licences. You will live within commuting distance of our Tetbury or Huddersfield office or be willing to relocate.
