MS in Energy Policy and Climate

The program, based at Johns Hopkins University’s Washington, DC Center, prepares the next generation of interdisciplinary professionals to address the challenges of climate change and sustainable energy systems.
Students must complete nine courses and a capstone project for the degree. Core coursework includes: Energy Production Technologies; Science of Climate Change and Its Impacts; Climate Change Policy Analysis; and Carbon Management and Finance.
Students also choose five electives from a variety of energy and climate topics that give them the technical and management skills needed to become highly competent and ethical professionals capable of leading societal responses to the challenges of a changing climate.
