The College of Natural Resources (CNR) has a full time (9-month) academic year position that will provide instructional support for the Soil and Waste Resources faculty and students in the College of Natural Resources. The successful applicant will manage and maintain lab facilities, teaching materials, and supplies for lab courses in the Soil and Waste Resources discipline and water chemistry; and develop, maintain, and coordinate infrastructure for field and experience based learning. The applicant will be expected to teach lecture and/or lab sections in the Introduction of Soil and Water Resources course. A teaching assignment during the summer for additional compensation is required. Experience in and desire to work with diverse populations of learners and stakeholders is required.
Qualifications:
Required:
- A Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in soil, waste, or water science.
- Working knowledge of laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
Preferred:
- A Master’s degree or related experience in the same areas.
- Teaching experience.
