If you are detail-oriented, self-motivated and want to help clients implement their energy-efficiency and energy-use programs, this is the job for you! You will support technical, stakeholder outreach, and program administration initiatives to facilitate industry engagement, build program and brand integrity, and assure efficient implementation of important government public private partnerships. You will be responsible for shaping critical programs for the next era of energy policies that will impact our communities- supporting the implementation of high–profile partnership programs to drive energy efficiency in the commercial, residential, industrial and/or energy-using product markets.
What you will be doing....
Building and maintaining relationships with key market actors, which may include product manufacturers, commercial building owners and operators, industry associations, and utilities.
Serving as direct point of contact for one or more clients/project leads and liaison for program participants while maintaining detailed records in customer management systems.
Manage and be responsible for both large and small events for energy professionals to engage with one another and share proven strategies for overcoming barriers to energy efficiency.
Serving as a direct point of contact and liaison for program staff supporting various communications activities.
Coordinating with other team members and clients to develop national and regional strategies to influence the market and increase program participation.
Conducting partner recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support to maximize program participation.
Providing technical assistance to program partners.
Contributing to the development and deployment of communications, outreach, and training resources, including case studies, webinars, in-person events, and other communications.
Developing and delivering trainings and presentations.
Tracking state, local, utility, national and/or international energy policies.
Conducting research and analysis of energy efficiency and industry issues.
What you need to have....
3+ years relevant experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly-developed interpersonal skills and self-motivation
Analytical skills, specifically in energy policy and program effectiveness
Solid personal computer skills (Microsoft applications)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under strict deadlines
Things that would make you ideal for this role:
Experience working in the commercial building sector, particularly the retail and/or food service sector, or for an energy efficiency vendor/service provider serving the commercial building sector
Experience with analyzing, evaluating and/or implementing energy efficiency measures in buildings (energy modeling is a plus)
Familiarity with the development/delivery of public-private voluntary partnership programs
